A Flower Cup

Today is my day to show one of my projects at WOC, and here it is - A Flower Cup, made for a very dear friend.

Just look at those gorgeous flowers! It is so easy to make a project look amazing with WOC flowers and embelishments! Heather works perfectly as a holder for a cup, and those pearls looks so pretty. Love the new pearl trim - its so easy to apply and looks so beautiful on projects.

With this project I also enter a challenge #42 at Scrapperiket: use at least two types of papers (I used Bazill and Making Memories paper)

First, a Christmas candy box made for WOC last challenge this year - Christmas friendship.

And secondly, I would like to show you two boxes, made from diamond shape dies NS MFD 021 from Kortgleder's.

Template for this box you can create using diamond die NS MFD021, and it looks like that:

Using the same template, just removing one of the diamond shapes, you can create a triangle diamond shape box as well.

Christmas Decorations #3

Here is my last post for today, he he. And here I would like to show you how to make a Christmas tree garland for decoration of a house or a Christmas tree.

Step 1. Fold wrappping paper like a fan.

Step 2. Make sure that folded paper is a little bit smaller than a die.

Step 3. Use NS MFD015.

Step 4. Unfold paper very carefully to a garland.

Step 5. Use the rest of a cut out paper for a docoration or gift wrapping :)

Christmas tree decorations #1

Today is the 3rd day in Kortgleder's Advent Calendar and it is my day to show you my creaitons. Today I will show you a few Christmas Tree decorations, and the first post is a tutorial for Christmas tree balls.

You need only:

- NS MFD011

- Brads

- Silk paper

- Thread

- Glue

- Glitter

Step 1. Fold together many layers of silk paper and use MFD011 die.

Step 2. Use a brad to hold layers together.

Step 3. Start with separating the layers from each other and fold towards the center.

Step 4. This side is done.

Step 5. Continue with other side.

Step 6. Both sides are now ready.

Step 7. Tie a thread around the center.

Step 8. Prepare glue and glitter. First role the ball into the glue and then into a glitter.

Step 9. Hang a ball and let it dry.

That's how you may do different sizes and shapes of Christmas tree balls.

Template for a piano card

Hello there!

Lately I've got so many requests about a template for a piano card, that I decided to make it and show it here. I did not write any sizes, as it depends, how big you want it.

Short explanation:

1. Cardstock paper to make a card stable.

2. You need two of those: one is black for back side of a piano, and second - note paper inside.

3. Black top part of a piano with opening. Larger part is glued on a cardstock and covered with note paper, when the opening is on a top. The marked spot is for a stick to keep it open.

4. The edge around a card, except a keybord.

5. The stick

6. The divider between keybord and main part of a piano.

7. Lower edge round the keybord (you can as well use the same long higher edge around the whole card, just lower it around a keybord).

p.s. do not forget to glue everything to a cardstock using strong glue. Leave the back side black paper for the end, as it will cover all glued edges.

The Candy Hanger

Hello everyone!

Today is a small project form me - The Candy Hanger - is made for WOC blog. It is a great way to surprise someone with a candy or a small gift.

I used from WOC:

- Insertion aglaise lace

Here you can see that I used a large pearl brad to hold a lace. Both beautiful and practical.

Just look at those gorgeous flowers! Stunning, aren't they? I removed pearls from the pearl spray and glued them on flowers - beautiful.

As well I want to remind you that a new challenge started at Kortgleder and this time its is a COLOR PALLETE CHALLENGE. I used a top pallete colors for my project, they are sooooo sunny-autumn-like. Love it!

Today is Monday and its time for WOC challenge and Kortgleder post. This time the challenge of WOC sounds: MAKE IT SPARKLE WITH STARS. As my contribution I decided to make a star-shaped card using fantastic Nellie Snellen diamond-shaped dies.

For this card I used from WOC:

- Organza rose trim

- German glass glitter

- Divine Twine

Here you can see a card from a side. I used 6-angled shape die for a basis and diamond shape dies as star wings - I love Nellie dies as they mix and match so well. For sparkles I used German glass glitter for edges of leaves and pearl spray strings. And as well I love the twine for making tassels and that fantastic floral branch punch with flowers.

Lately it is so difficult to manage time... Since I started my new job and some other new challenges came into my life adding to a neverending renovation of a house, my daily routines are somehow disturbed, he he... But hopefully soon everything will fit into their places, he he..

And here is a new Christmas card. WOC have their new challenge going on and Kortgleder as well have a Christmas challenge this time, so here is my contribution:

From WOC I used those wonderful Christmas Poinsettias - they are so perfect to all Christmas projects. Also roses 10mm, Christmas wooden shape embelishments, and metal embelishments - Santa's sleigh. As well I used Ivory Insertion Aglaise Lace and colored it with red and gold pigment ink.

As well I used dies MFD029 and edge dies MFD028 from Nellie Snellen together with that gorgeous new Christmas Time stamp, which is colored with Nellie pencils.

My project today: A Flower Pot with a Card. It is made for WOC blog.

A flower pot I made using polystyrene ball and fabulous WOC flowers and embelishments:

The story behind this photo is attach on other side of LO, he he. One day we were visiting friends and Ulrika very much wanted to jump on trampolyne. The next moment we remember was her flying like a birdie from trampolyne, as one of the bigger boys jumped on it and Ulrika bounced off. Landed softly on a grass but straight on her head. Hi everyone!

I have very good news to share with you! Today is a DAY 2 OF CHRISTMAS in JULY at WOC! Lots of fun, wonderful prizes and so much inspiration! Pop in and check it out!

And here is my little project for the Christmas party at WOC: A Triangle Box for a small Christmas present or some candies.

I used:

-25mm roses

-15mm roses

-10mm roses

-4mm rosebuds

-crystal drops on silver stems

-metal corner

-silk ribbon

-vintage seam binding ribbon

and that cute LOTV stamp "Oh, Christmas Tree".

All of it fits perfectly with pearlescent paper from Luxury pack from DCWV.

And here is a short and simple tutorial how to make such a practical but the same very cute box:

1) I used a piece of paper size 30,5cmx10cm and first I measured the middle of it and drew a line:

2) Marked middle points on the sides as well and drew lines connecting middle points on edges.

3) Fold along the lines and cut out holes for ribbon:

4) Put a ribbon through holes:

5) A box is ready to be decorated.

Today is a day when Our Vintage Affair announcing a new challenge: July LO Challenge "Flowers". And this time it has to be at least one flower made by you! Here is my contribution to the challenge:

Today is as well a day when Kortgleder is announcing the new challenge as well! Yes, that's right! And the challenge is all about "Sommer idyll" which is inspired by the song from Postgirobygget.

Postgirobygget - Idyll.

I used paper from WP and Bazzil, flowers are made by my self using WOC rose trim and silk paper cut with Nellie snellen dies MFD025 and MFD026. I also used Nellie Snellen dies MFD014 for tekst and title backgrounds, and MFD023 for making edges with silk paper.

The photo is printed on Canvas paper - fell in love with it! Maybe a picture is not as sharp on the photo, but in reality it looks gorgeous!

And I was surprised how fast it is to make a flower with Nellie Snellen dies and silk paper! I used as well some Glimmer Mist to give a flower a color I want. Look how delicious it looks:

Its a new challenge on Our Vintage Affair, and this time it is A CARD challenge "STAMP BACKGROUND". It means that the background has to be stamped with at least 2 stamps!

Pop-up Pirat Card and "Shirt With Tie" Cards

Hello there!

Do you all know, that Kortgleder is celebrating 5 years anniversary? Simply pop-in and participate in the challenge on the occation and win good prizes!

Here is a Pop-up Pirat card I made as inspiration to the anniversary. I used 5 Nellie Snellen products: 2 dies from MFD 014, edge dies MFD023, Pirat stamp "Treasure" and Strass Stones.

I also used papers from Prima and BG, Twinkle H2O paint, and text stamp from Kort og Godt.

And here wanna show you very simple "Shirts-with-tie" cards made for two men. I call it "5minutes" cards, he he... Not much of a beauty, but sometimes we do need such a simple solution, don't we?

The Folded Card Tutorial

Hello everyone!

Today i will show you how to make such a folded card:

Inside of a card there is a pocket for money, a small present or/and a tag where you may write your congratulations and wishes:

And here it comes a tutorial:

1. Fold a paper as it is shown on a picture under. Simply mark middle point on every edge and fold accordingly. I used double sided paper form Prima. The size of a paper is 20x20cm. You may use any size of a paper but it has to be square.

2. Prepare the pocket for oyur card. I used a triangle pocket.

3. Apply glue only on edges of a pocket.

4. Distress edges and glue a pocket on a card.

5. I made a tag and decoratet an inside of a card at this point, but you may do it at the end...

6. Make a top cover of a card. Mine is size 14x14cm.

7. Glue the top cover on one of the corners of a card.

8. Glue a ribbon to the backside and top cover of a card.

9. I used one more layer of a paper on a top cover. Now the card is ready to be decorated ...

10. When you are done with decoration simply fold a card and tie a ribbon. Here is your card ready :)

A Flower Basket

Hello again!

Today is a day when a new challenge starts at Anonyme Scrappere. And this time the challenge is "THREE (3)". It means that three things have to dominate on the creation, like: 3 papers, 3 flowers, 3 ribbons, 3 pearls, 3 stamps, etc. Even if it is a minimalistic creaiton, it has to be something 3. And it has to be writen on your blog, which things are 3 on your creation.

Here is my contrbution: A Flower Basket. Something a little bit different for a birthday present.

I used:

3 papers

3 stamps

3 punches

3 roses

3 rosebuds

3 leaves

3 butterflies

3 ribbons.

And even 3 types of glue, he he...

A Card "Til Konfirmant"

Hello there!

Today I will show you a card "Til konfirmant".

It is a napkin folding card I made for OVA new challenge "Napkin card". This time the challenge sponsor is The Craft Barn with a £20 voucher to spend in their store!

As well these two weeks we have 'til konfirmat' weeks at Kortgleder. And this card is made for this occasion.

I used edge dies MFD 019 for the front page around the picture and ribbon, dies MFD014 for the text window and corner dies MFD027 from Nellie Snellen. I embelished a card with Strass stones from Nellie Snellen. The edges around the card made with MS punch. The text stamp is from INKIDO, and papers from BG and 7gypsies.

LO "Angel" (DT OVA)

Hi everyone!

Today is a new day and Our VIntage Affair has announced a new LO challenge. This time a challenge is all about using THREE LACES (not ribbons, but laces) and a SKETCH. Here is my take on a challenge LO "Angel".

This LO "Angel" is also made for Papirdokkene challenge #2 "Scrap a song". This time is was Chris Medina "What are words".

I used BoBunny paper, but simply cut out the different color layers, so it would look like I used three different papers. The photo is of Ulrika when she was 2. When she looks at me with those innocent eyes, I feel blessed, like it says in the words of the song:

"...I know an angel was sent just for me..."

Tutorial - Nellie Snellen Bird Stencil

Hello there!

Today I will show you one more tutorial with Nellie Snellen Lines and Dots Stencils.

I used Lines and Dots stencil LD006 Bird from Nellie Snellen.

1. Paint the whole stencil plate with ink pad. I used fast-drying pigment ink.

2. Turn the painted side of a stencil on to a paper. Use adhesive tape to hold the stencil in place.

3. Use your die cutting machine to emboss the paper.

4. Remove the stencil and your picture is painted and embossed.

5. I covered the whole picture with Perfect Pearls to get that shinny pearlized look.

6. Cut out the picture in a shape you wish and it is ready to use in your projects.

I also used edge die MFD028 and Strass Stones from Nellie Snellen for this card.

Tutorial - Nellie Snellen Flower Stencil

Hi there!

Today I wil show you the tutorial about how to use Nellie Snellen Lines and Dots Flower Stencil. Those stencils are so beautiful and so praktical, and you can use it in many ways. They produced from light metal, are durable and easy to use. Here I will show only one of many ways how to use it.

I used Nellie Snellen Lines and Dots stencil LD007 Flower-1.

1. Emboss paper using the stencil.

2. Use an ink pad to color all openings.

3. Cut out the leaves of a flower along the lines and shape it to lift it.

Now your flower is ready to use in your projects.

I also used MFD025 and Strass Stones from Nellie Snellen. Entire card is covered with Perfect Pearls and decorated with flowers and a ribbon.

I used papers from Prima and WP, a side from old book... As well I used pearls, ribbon, flowers, butterfly stamp, stamp 'Sommar collage' and 'Singelros' - all from INKIDO! Those things are so fantastic!

All the edges are done with Nellie Snellen edge dies MFD023 than teared to the pieces and assembled again, he he... This old book page was so old and damaged that it was tearing apart itself on a touch, he he... Than added some natural dried details as well - a touch of a nature...

Here is my take on a challenge - LO "Little Model Girl".

I used Prima Mask and white crackle paint to make a background, some stitching, some ripping, he he... Ribbons, ribbon roses and fowers form Prima, as well as the package paper under the photo. Corners are made with Nellie Snellen corner dies.

Tutorial - Basket for Easter Eggs (DT Kortgleder)

Hi all my friends and visitors!

Today is my day to present a tutorial for Kortgleder visitors. So here it is - a tutorial how to make a Basket for Easter Eggs with Nellie Snellen tools.

To make this tutorial i got inspired by Anna's creations and her cute basket for Easter. Pop into her blog to say hello and get inspired - she makes many beautiful creations!

You need:

- Scissors, ruler

- Glue

- Paper

- Multi Frame Dies MFD025 from Nellie Snellen

- Clippunch CP022 from Nellie Snellen Alphabet Clippunch Tag set

- Ribbon

- Other embelishments to decorate the basket

Tutorial:

Take a piece of paper like it shown on the picture and fold it like a fan:

Glue edges together:

Use punch CP022 to make holes for a ribben like it shows on a picture:

Pierce the ribbon through holes and tie together:

Prepare two circle details using MFD025 dies:

Glue the smaller circle like a bottom part:

The bigger circle detail fold and glue together:

glue this detail as a handle to the basket:

Here it is the basket is ready to decorate...

Easter Birthday Child Kit (DT Kortgleder)

Hello everyone!

Today is a new day and I am showing you my new project. A project done for Kortgleder. This time I prepared a set for Easter Bithday Child - an egg and a card. Usualy those, who are born on any holidays, get somehow unlucky. Because everyone is celebrating the holidays, but a birthday somehow is pushed behind... Therefore I decided to give a double present to a small girl who is born on Easter.

I used papers from Paper Girl and BG, dies MFD013, strass-stones and 3D motiv FEMA006 on a card from Nellie Snellen. As well I used flowers from Magnolia, papirloftet and other, lace and flowers centers from Prima.

I cut paper in lines and sew it with mashine. Love those papers and this type of egg decoration with paper lines and stitches...

Almost the same but the same different. The same paper kit, the same stitching, but no flowers, he he...

Oh, I love that 3D picture from Nellie Snellen! Isn't it gorgeous?

Spring color inspiration challenge (week #56)! Those colors were exactly what I needed to be inspired... And here is my triangle pyramid card made for this challenge.

I used paper from BG, border punch from Martha Stewart, Strass-Stones from Nellie Snellen, flowers from Kort og Godt, Papirloftet and Nellie and ribbon from Søstrene Grene, he he...

When the 'hat' is removed a triangle card opens up. I used rub-on quotes from Kaiser craft.

Butterfly tutorial

Hello everyone!

Today I will show you how to make a butterfly from Nellie Snellen corner dies MFD 027.

Butterfly like the one on a card:

First fold a paper and cut out the shape like it is shown on a picture:

Cut out the shape using scissors. I cut both papers at the same time so the shape of the butterfly wings would be the same. Therefore I folded paper at the begining. You can otherwise use non-permanent glue to hold papers together.

Glue the very corners together:

Glue on other details as well:

I used Nellie Snellen Strass-Stones to decorate a butterfly.

A card with butterfly... I used Nellie Snellen Dies MFD026 on a card as well.

Easter Decoration - DT OVA

Good morning everyone!

What a nice Saturday morning and here is my new project - Easter Decoration

for Our Vintage Affair's new April Altered Item challenge.

April sponsor of a month is INKIDO with their gorgeous new collection! Pop into their blog for inspiration and you will find many fantastic creations there.

For this project I used pearls, ribbon, flowers, butterfly stamp, stamp 'sommar collage' and paper 'Romantisk stripe' - all from INKIDO! Those things are so fantastic!

Just have a look at those flowers - they are gorgeous!

I made en easter egg from pappier mache, painted it with Gesso, and than stamped it with that beautiful stamp with tekst and roses, called 'sommar collage'. There is a text saying 'Påske' ('Easter'). And I fell in love with those cute small butterflies (stamp from Inkido).

Here is my new project - Coffee Cup "Til Lykke" ("To happiness" or simply "Congratulations"). I made this project for Scrapperiket bonus challenge "Flowers and pearls".

I used Fancy Pants paper, HappyHobby stamps, Inkido pearls and flowers from Kort og Godt and others. The cup is made using new Nellie Snellen MFD 025 Multi Frame Dies - I simply love them! Aren't they gorgeous?

The Cup lifts up and... surprise!

He he... No, not such a big surprise, just a small congratulations text.

Nesting-box in a box (DT Anonyme Scrappere)

Hi everyone!

Today is a new day and for Anonyme Scrappere is a big day. First of all a new challenge is announced today: "Easter" and all DT members, both old and new, are presenting their works for the first time. Here is my project "Nesting-box" for this challenge.

I used Inkido papers, Prima flowers and birds, Nellie Snellen and Spellbinders dies, Nellie Snellen Strass-stones, and a picture is from 3ndypapir.

A box is quite big as it holds a surprise... He he...

And inside is a nesting-box with those cute birds...
